Reading Buddies Club

On Wednesday, March 23, I volunteered at my platform, First 5. I specifically volunteer with the Reading Buddies Club, where teens are matched with a child to spend time reading together. I have been volunteering there for the past year and it is such a rewarding experience. I love sharing my love of reading with the children! This amazing program is only offered at First 5 Ventura County, so my goal is to start Reading Buddies Clubs at some of the other First 5s in California.
